Chaya will come to your home and prepare a traditional Mauritian seafood meal for you all to enjoy! This private dinner will also include a wine tasting, led by Ottolenghi Sommelier Pierre Malouf. You will get the chance to try wines that perfectly match your meal and will allow you and your guests to explore into the world of wine.

Chaya was born and raised in Mauritius, moved to London as a teenager and accidentally fell into cooking for a living. Chaya now develops recipes in the Ottolenghi test kitchen for the Guardian and the Ottolenghi restaurants. Her cooking is deeply influenced by her Mauritian heritage. She is very passionate about spices, tropical flavours and eating (not cooking) Japanese food.

Pierre is Head of People and Wine at Ottolenghi. As a wine buyer, Pierre's focus is on natural wines - those vinified with minimal human intervention, no pesticide or fungicides. Rather, they reflect the qualities of the grape, the soil it grows from, the history of its land and talent of the winemaker.
